These terms govern your use of the DiplomaStrat mobile app and website. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
What DiplomaStrat is
DiplomaStrat is an examination preparation service for polytechnic (diploma) students in Telangana, India, preparing for the ECET entrance examination. It provides practice questions, mock tests, previous examination papers, study material and progress reports.
It is preparation, not a guarantee. Practising here does not guarantee any particular result in ECET or any other examination, and we do not claim otherwise. The questions and material are for study; the examination itself is set and marked by the relevant board, which has no connection with us.
Your account
- You must give accurate information when you register, and keep it up to date.
- Your account is personal to you. Do not share your password or let anyone else use it.
- One device at a time. Signing in on a new device signs you out of the old one. This protects your account, and it is also how we stop one paid account being shared by a class.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account.
If you were enrolled by your college, your college created your account and can see your results. Your name, roll number, branch and semester are your college's record, and you should ask them to correct those rather than us.
Subscriptions and payment
Access to tests and study material requires an active subscription. How you pay depends on how you joined: a college may pay for its students, or you may be asked to pay directly. The price and the period of access are shown to you before you pay.
- Subscriptions do not renew automatically. Access ends when the period ends.
- A subscription is personal and cannot be transferred to another person.
- Refunds are handled case by case — write to us and we will look at it.
Using the app properly
Please do not:
- copy, record, republish or resell the questions, papers or study material;
- share your account, or use somebody else's;
- try to break, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the service;
- use automated tools to download content or take tests;
- upload anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to upload.
We may suspend or close an account that does these things.
Copying is discouraged, and on iPhone it is counted. On Android the app blocks screenshots and screen recording outright. On iPhone, where Apple provides no way to block them, the app counts how many you take — and if it happens during a test, your teacher is told. Our privacy policy sets out exactly what is recorded, which is a number and a date and nothing more.
The content
The questions, papers, explanations and study material in the app belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us. You may use them to study. You may not redistribute them.
Previous examination papers reproduce publicly available examinations. Where a paper belongs to an examining board, it remains theirs.
Your results
Your test results are shown to you and, if you were enrolled by a college, to your college's teachers and principal. That is the purpose of the product — your teacher sets tests and reads the results.
Closing your account
You can ask us to delete your account at any time, from My Profile → Delete my account in the app or from our deletion page. Everything that identifies you is erased. Your test results are kept without your name, because they form part of your class's averages and your teacher's reports.
We may close an account that breaches these terms. Where we do, we will tell you why.
Availability
We try to keep the service running and correct, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, and we may take the service down for maintenance.
Our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for examination results, or for loss caused by your own breach of these terms. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we will update the date at the top of this page, and tell you in the app if the change materially affects you. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the change.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Hyderabad, Telangana, have jurisdiction.
